Carina Seth Andersson: Work

Carina Seth Andersson works in glass and ceramics with a quietness that speaks volumes – simplicity as philosophy, function that transcends into timeless form. From her Gustavsberg studio to Skruf's glassworks in Småland, she crosses boundaries between arts, crafts, and mass production with quiet mastery.

Her work holds space at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and Designmuseum Danmark in Copenhagen. It also holds space in people's homes – on shelves, on tables, in daily use.

This photographic monograph offers intimate access to Andersson's aesthetic world and working process. Interior photographer Pia Ulin spent three years documenting the studios, the work in production, the finished pieces in situ. The result is a study on the balance of restraint and creativity.

Beautifully produced in Sweden with silk-screened linen cover. Printing, binding, paper stock – every element reflects the same attention to detail Andersson brings to her work.

Out of print. We obtained a handful of copies through a friend and are the only US stockists. This is for collectors who know: some books are references, some are objects. The rare ones are both.
